Become a Member of the Positive Psychology Association of Kenya (PPAK)
The Positive Psychology Association of Kenya (PPAK) welcomes individuals committed to advancing positive psychology research, practice, and well-being initiatives within Kenya. Membership provides an opportunity to contribute to a growing professional community dedicated to evidence-based well-being and human flourishing.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO JOIN?
Membership is open to:
Persons aged 18 years and above, scholars, academics, and/or practitioners engaged in research or practice in the field of positive psychology in Kenya All membership applications are subject to approval by the Association’s Committee, in line with the Constitution.
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & FEES
Members are required to pay an annual subscription, categorized as follows:
Student Member: KES 1,000 per year
Open to students studying psychology or related fields
Professional Member: KES 2,000 per year
Open to professionals actively engaged in positive psychology research or practice
Subscription Deadline: Annual membership fees are due and payable by 28th February each year
HOW TO JOIN
- Complete the PPAK membership application form
- Await approval by the Committee
- Pay the applicable annual subscription
- Receive confirmation of membership
MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
By joining PPAK, members agree to:
- Uphold the values and reputation of the Association
- Comply with the PPAK Constitution and Rules
- Maintain active membership by paying annual subscriptions on time
Members who fall into subscription arrears for more than two years automatically cease to be members, though reinstatement may be considered upon full payment of outstanding fees
